Sidney R. Steele

Hello, I'm Sidney.

I am a journalist and political junkie. I love to learn and teach others. I am a believer in audio journalism, and the power of using audio to tell stories. I believe in doing work that helps people be civically engaged, whether that be hosting a voter registration drive or reporting on events in my community.

As congregations grow old and young generations move away, many predominently Black churches in rural Missouri are closing their doors, leaving behind important history and culture.
